Jada Rovina Salisbury, age 55, of Centreville, passed away Monday evening, September 30, 2024, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born December 19, 1968, in Sturgis, daughter of Richard and Mary (McWatters) Keckler.
Jada resided most of her life in Centreville.
On August 30, 2014, she married Keith Salisbury, Jr. in Three Rivers.
Jada was a dedicated wife and homemaker.
She enjoyed attending concerts and time surrounded by family. Jada was happiest anytime she was with the love of her life Keith. Often the two could be found scrapping together.
She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 10 years: Keith; step-daughter: Gabrielle Salisbury of Kalamazoo; mother: Mary Dyal of Centreville; father and step-mother: Richard and Brenda Keckler of Mendon; sisters: Amy Christine (Richard) Lucas of Mendon and Roxanne Elaine (James) Wade of Texas; brothers: Richard Dale (Lori) McWatters of North Carolina, Shaun Douglas Keckler of Virginia, Shaun Edward Keckler of Traverse City, Butch Murle (Casey) Keckler of Eaton Rapids and Robert Leo Keckler of Mendon; father-in-law: Keith “Skip” Salisbury, Sr. of Three Rivers; brothers-in-law: Robert (Kristina) Salisbury of Three Rivers and Paul (Heather) Salisbury of Sturgis and several nieces and nephews including nieces: Sylvia, Anna and Johnny who she helped raise.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law: Patricia Salisbury and nieces: Christina Slusher and Megan McWatters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5th at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Jada R. Salisbury will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. In honoring her wishes cremation will follow the service.
