Kimberly Ann Matlock, age 64, of Three Rivers, passed away at Ascension Borgess Medical Center on October 3, 2024. She was born in Marion, IN on October 11, 1959 the daughter of John and Clara (Chamberlain) Matlock. Kim attended Centreville Schools and later on obtained her general education degree as a Bulldog. She was a talented artist who created masterpieces from different mediums; ranging from drawing, painting, sculpting, engraving, ect. Kim was a sucker for 1980’s hair bands and was often heard singing “Momma I’m Coming Home” by Ozzy. She loved watching her sitcoms and soap operas, with Tink the cat, in between her playing dice and Yahtzee games. Kim was very welcoming to others and loved to host and looked forward to making her famous Tater Soup.
Kim is survived by her two sons; Craig Martin and Curt Martin; three grandchildren; Damion Fritz, Devon Martin, and Ashley Miller; two great-grandchildren; Addison Fritz and Allyson Fritz; six siblings; Sheila, Jeff, Tracey, Tina, Deb, and Jim; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Deb Zinsmaster.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation is being conducted. A celebration of life and gathering is scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2024 at 5pm at the Colon Community Park.
