Terri Marie Novak, age 67, of Colon, passed away Wednesday evening, November 6, 2024, at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo.
She was born August 14, 1957, in Southfield, Michigan, the daughter of the late Ralph Jasper and Virginia Lorraine (Harrison) Dasey, II.
Terri resided in Colon since 2002 coming from Fenton. Her early life was lived in the Detroit area.
On November 23, 1993, she married Alexander Novak In St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
She had been employed by Conagra Foods in Quincy, and also worked at Eaton Corporation in Three Rivers.
She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis.
Terri loved her home on Palmer Lake and was always ready for a pontoon ride around the lake.
She is survived by her husband: Alexander; son: Sean Novak of Madison Heights; granddaughter: Angel Novak; brothers: Scott Dasey and Micah Dasey both of Redford; nieces and nephews: James Reynolds, Rick Reynolds, Katrina Burns, Pat Dasey and Paul Dasey, Jason Dasey, Christopher Dasey and Jennifer Lowe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Sandy Reynolds and Charlotte Dasey and brothers: Ralph Dasey, III and Mark Dasey.
In honoring Terriās wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass celebrating the life of Terri Marie Novak will be held at 1:00 Friday, November 15th at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis. The Rev. Father Andrew Raczkowski will celebrate the Mass.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
