Two Calhoun County residents were arrested this week following a breaking-and-entering incident in the village of Homer.
State police troopers responded shortly before 9 p.m. Monday to the 700 block of South Hillsdale Street in response to a door left open at a residence. Troopers concluded a breaking-and-entering incident had occurred. They followed footprints in the snow to a nearby residence.
Troopers obtained a search warrant for the residence, resulting in the arrest of two suspects for breaking and entering, as well as recovering the stolen items.
