A Detroit man died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday on an interstate in Calhoun County’s Emmett Township.
Michigan State Troopers responded at 10 p.m. to an area on westbound I-94 near mile marker 104.
Upon arrival, investigators discovered a 22-year-old driver deceased in his vehicle. Authorities said the man was the sole occupant in the vehicle.
An investigation to determine if alcohol, speed and/or weather were factors is ongoing. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers said.
