Hazel Louise Lintz, age 97, formerly of Constantine, died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her home in West Union, IL. She was born June 15, 1927 in Bronson, MI a daughter of James and Lola (Adams) Ulrich. Hazel graduated from Constantine High School in 1944 and attended Hillsdale College. On March 28, 1946 she married Bert Lintz in Ashland, KY. He preceded her in death February 10, 1993. Hazel worked in the cafeteria at Constantine High School for over 20 years retiring in 1983. She was active in the Constantine band and athletic boosters, the 4-H A OK club as a leader, and Constantine Little League.
Surviving are her children Diann (Ernie) Erdos, West Union, IL, Connie (John Maginness) Lintz, Denver, CO, Ronnie (Bonnie) Lintz, Bellevue, NE, Kenneth (DeeAnn) Lintz, Kalamazoo, grandchildren Nathan, Garrett, Travis (Jackie), Troy (Jennifer), Benjamin (Cindy), Amber, Ann (Brad), Jannina (Corey), Matthew (Sharon), Tenisha (Joe), great grandchildren Dannie, Jaden, Dom, Cheyenne, Zowie and Thaila, Elie, Abby, Jaxin, Matthias, Daisy, Joey, Jacob, Jasmine, Joshua, Justin, John, Jordan, Jonah, Jacqueline, Jared, Jessica, and Addison Hazel.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother James M. Ulrich and great granddaughter Jullie.
Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 12 to 2 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where religious services will begin at 2 pm. Pastor Matthew Erdos will officiate. Burial will be in Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choice.
