Juergen A. Brueggmann, age 64, of Centreville, died on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1960 in Valparaiso, IN, a son of Juergen H. and Brigitta (Preskewitz) Brueggmann. Juergen graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1978 and received a Bachelor’s degree in Tool and Die from Valparaiso University. In 1987, he married Janice Hall; they later divorced. Juergen was currently employed at IAC in Mendon as a tool and die maker. He previously worked at Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights as a machinist and supervisor. He also helped operate the family farm in Centreville. Juergen enjoyed building and racing stock cars and received many trophies. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast.
Surviving are his son Alex (Laura Adams) Brueggmann, mother Brigitta Brueggmann, and his 20 year companion Cherri Mullins. He was preceded in death by his father.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no public services. Interment of Ashes will be in Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville.
