Sturgis man named chairman of Young Farmer Committee

A Sturgis man has been named head of a committee under the umbrella of a state agriculture organization.

According to a media release, Riley Brazo recently assumed the role of chairman of Michigan Farm Bureau Young Farmer Committee.

Brazo, who is employed by Fawn River Farms, joined Farm Bureau in 2015.

Over the past three years, Brazo has served on the state’s Young Farmer Committee as representative for a district that includes St. Joseph, Cass and three other counties.

Brazo’s term is for a two-year period.
