Clark Logic Acquires Midwest Realty Group

Industrial real estate developer Clark Logic recently completed the purchase of Midwest Realty Group, based in Portage, Michigan, acquiring all aspects of Midwest Realty Group’s business services, including brokerage, property management, tools and equipment, trucks, trailers, and industrial supplies.

Founded by Rick DeKam, Midwest Realty Group has served the Southwest Michigan area as a full-service commercial real estate broker with maintenance, construction, consulting, development, and management services since 1998. Midwest Realty Group will continue to operate at 2314 Helen Avenue in Portage, Michigan as a subsidiary under Clark Logic. Clark Logic Director of Leasing and Development, Matt Conlee, will lead the ongoing real estate operations for the collective entities.

Purchasing the brokerage company is a defining moment in the growth and expansion of Clark Logic’s real estate and property management abilities. Owner and President Jamie Clark has amassed an extensive real estate portfolio with over 7 million square feet of industrial space across Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana.

Clark Logic is an industrial services company that specializes in real estate development, transportation, logistics, warehousing, 3PL & handling, cardboard & paper recycling, semi-trailer & container rental and sales, facility cleaning, and automotive dunnage washing.

Clark Logic takes great pride in transforming out-dated or vacated facilities and giving new life to depleted industrial areas. In 2024 alone, the company purchased nine buildings totaling over 506,000 square feet with plans to renovate the properties into high-quality industrial facilities.

Clark Logic is also a principal partner in Industrial Partners USA (IPUSA), which has completed 1.38 million square feet of new construction warehousing and industrial space in Kalamazoo and Calhoun County since 2022. There are plans to construct another million-plus square feet over the next three years.

In addition to real estate development, Clark Logic offers single-source transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions. Clark Logic added to its expansive transportation fleet through the purchase of Kalamazoo-based trucking company Lindsey Dedicated Services in April 2024.

Clark Logic is currently completing a 101,000-plus square feet logistics facility on Haines Boulevard, near the airport in Sturgis. The company also owns two large industrial facilities on Prairie Street in Sturgis, and another on Industrial Park Drive in Constantine. Clark Logic acquired Constantine-based P & P Transportation Services, Inc., one of the largest regional trucking companies in Southern Michigan, in 2022. Clark Logic was founded as Central Manufacturing Services (CMS) in 1969 in Three Rivers.
