Court of appeals upholds conviction of TR man

Michigan Court of Appeals has affirmed the conviction and prison sentence issued to a Three Rivers man charged with attempted murder.

The court upheld Lee Parker Jr.’s conviction and sentence to between 17 and 60 years in prison for charges of assault with intent to commit murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The charges stem from an incident in April 2020 at River Trail Apartments in Three Rivers. The incident involved a 17-year-old girl shot in the head by Parker.

He was convicted in August 2021.
