Dorian Roepel, a journalist and TV producer, is now acting Communications and PR Manager at the Shipshewana/LaGrange County CVB. His experience is a great addition to the Visitors Center where he’ll work directly with media, bloggers, and writers to tell the story of Shipshewana and LaGrange County businesses.
His journey began in Oklahoma where he worked as a news producer covering local breaking news, elections, sports, and entertainment. His career in media led him to a freelance role covering entertainment, video games, film and TV, and the automotive industry.
Executive Director Sonya Nash is pleased to welcome Dorian and is confident that his skills and passion for storytelling will benefit the organization and its partners. “Dorian’s background as a journalist and author will enhance everything we do at the CVB. From promoting our partners and events to engaging with the local community, media, and bloggers, we’re thrilled to welcome him to the team.”

That was well before I even got the role, and I have learned firsthand why that’s true,” said Dorian. “It’s the people you meet that work and live in the region that make visiting worthwhile. Everyone has a unique story to tell and I look forward to highlighting their stories and the adventures you’ll find when you visit.”
Dorian will be responsible for website and social media content, working with journalists and media, in addition to creating and executing video and PR strategies to stimulate economic development and promote tourism in LaGrange County.
