A suspect is in custody in connection with a hit-and-run incident Wednesday afternoon in Three Rivers.
Three Rivers Police Chief Scott Boling said officers responded at 4:35 p.m. to the intersection of West Michigan and South Douglas Avenues in response to an injured pedestrian.
Officers were advised that the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident had left the scene.
The victim, a 47-year-old woman, was airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital and admitted in critical condition.
County Sheriff’s deputies assisted in locating the suspect and vehicle. The suspect is a 33-year-old Three Rivers resident, who has been lodged in the county jail on several charges.
