Carolyn Ann Vickers, age 73, of Colon, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
Carolyn was born on August 27, 1951, in Pontiac, Michigan, a daughter to the late Dewey and Vandaray (Combs) Deaton. Carolyn was a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School with the class of 1969. She then worked many years in finance. She was a resident of Colon for the last 5 years, previously living in Arizona, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
Surviving Carolyn are her children: James (Michelle) Crawford of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jeffery Crawford of Alpena, and Julie Lundquist of Colon, grandchildren: Cade Crawford, Bailie Crawford, Jacob Crawford, Davin Lundquist, great granddaughter Daisy Crawford, siblings: W. Craig (Jan) Deaton of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Keith Deaton of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Trisha (Mark) Phelps of Colon, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Dewey and Vandaray Deaton, Carolyn was preceded in death by her son Jonathon Vickers, and a granddaughter Justine Crawford.
Following in her wish’s cremation has taken place. A celebration of life is not yet planned but will be announced in the near future.
