Herbert honorably served his country with the United States Army. Herbert found love again and married Rose Fair on October 8, 2011 on the beautiful St. Joe River in a pontoon. Herbert worked for over 40 years as a journeyman in sheet metal working and was part of the local #292. He enjoyed taking fishing trips to Canada, the U.P., and any body of water that potentially had fish to catch; that experience was extra special however if he was accompanied with a grandson.
