Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Adams, age 75, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Optalis Health and Rehab after a brief illness.
Born on August 23, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, Kathy was the cherished daughter of James Eiselstein and Floris Leffingwell. She spent her early years in Columbus before moving to Sandusky, Ohio, where she lived for the majority of her life. Two years ago, Kathy moved to Three Rivers to be closer to her family.
Kathy’s life was defined by her devotion to her family and the love she gave to those around her. She worked briefly as a secretary for the TV Clinic in Sandusky, but spent most of her life managing her home, creating a warm, loving environment for her loved ones. Kathy had a passion for the simple joys in life—enjoying tea, listening to Elvis, cheering on her beloved Cleveland Browns, and attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. She also found joy in watching cooking shows and sharing playful banter with her family. She was known for being the neighborhood watch, always looking out for others.
Kathy’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished the time spent with her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her cat, Lincoln, also held a special place in her heart.
Kathy is survived by her son, Joe (Andrea) Adams of Three Rivers; her grandchildren, Whitney Adams of Memphis, TN, Phillip Adams of Salisbury, NC, Courtney (TJ) Gill of Schoolcraft, Derek (Breanna) Adams of Three Rivers, Andrew (Abbigale) Adams of Three Rivers, Zach Adams of Elkhart, Zoey Adams of LaGrange, and Zayah Adams of LaGrange; eight great-grandchildren, with a ninth on the way; and her siblings, Patrick (Judy) Gallagher, James (Markie) Eiselstein, and Sharon Allen, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, John Adams.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time.
