Patricia Marie Schneeberger (née Oliver), known as Patty to most, entered her heavenly chapter on February 2, 2025 at the age of 67. She was born on May 27, 1952 at Three Rivers Hospital to Wesley and Norma Oliver. Her parents and sister, Susie, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Sheri Komdeur, Laura Schroeder, and Anton Schneeberger and by her brother Wesley Oliver. Patty is also now missed by her beloved grandchildren: Ethan, Eliana, Chandler, Cohen, Addie, and Reid.
Patty graduated from Constantine High School followed by earning a Bachelors degree from Ferris State University and later completed an education degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She spent most of her career working in education. The bounty of Patty’s life was spent caring for her family farm and her children. Patty had a true passion for her community. She loved adventure and travel. Her presence brought energetic joy and kindness to the world.
Patty was raised in a rural farming community and never stopped having a passion for her community. She gave back by donating her time to the 4-H horse program. She was a great mentor to many children and their families through the years, giving them the knowledge that they needed to succeed in equestrian endeavors. She was always willing to help others, and reach out a caring hand. She will be greatly missed.
Her Celebration of Life will be held May 26, 2025 at the home of Doug and Raenell Staples (66621 Burg Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091) at 2pm. Guests are invited to bring a dish to pass and plan to enjoy time with family and friends celebrating her extraordinary life.
I was one of the many 4-H kids that Patty poured into. She was always so encouraging and yet challenged us to do and be better. She impacted my life in so many ways. She will he missed but her legacy lives on in all of us she taught and helped!
