Benjamin Rhoda, 47

Benjamin Eugene “Ben” Rhoda, age 47, of Three Rivers, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 3, 2025 at Ascension Borgess Hospital.

He was born September 14, 1977 in Sturgis, the son of Bill and Betsy (Rose) Rhoda, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1996, where he participated in soccer, football, and baseball. He was always a hard worker, working in the fields, and various after school jobs.

After graduation, he attended ITT Technical Institute in Ft. Wayne where he graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree. From there he went on to Ferris State University graduating with a Degree of Bachelor of Science Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.

Ben worked as an electrical engineer at ARBOC Specialty Vehicles. He was a hands on worker and didn’t like to be confined to his office. He truly enjoyed the people he worked with and was always ready to lend a hand where needed.

He was a very giving, kind person who truly loved his family, especially his nephews and niece. He also enjoyed woodworking, making many signs and plaques for family and friends. He loved anything Michigan, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers. He was still waiting for the Lions to win the Super Bowl.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his parents, Bill and Betsy Rhoda of Three Rivers; brother, Braden (Samantha) Rhoda of Vicksburg and their children, Beckett, Maverick, and Harper; uncles, Mike (Judith Pollard) Rose, Bill (Janell) Lederman, and Bob (Richard Stone) Lederman; aunt, Beverly Rose; and many beloved cousins.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jim Rose, and aunt, Judy (Paull) Rambadt.

A memorial service will be held later in the spring.

Donations in Ben’s memory may be directed to the Moorepark Community Church building fund. Envelopes will be available at Hohner Funeral Home.
