Charles Edgar Henton, age 63, of Sturgis, passed away on March 4, 2025 at his home.
He was born October 27, 1961 in Kalamazoo, son of the late Frank and Stella (Cowgill) Henton.
Charles resided in Sturgis since 2015, coming from Kalamazoo where he lived the majority of his life.
Most of his working life was involved in construction and heating and cooling.
He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and at one time participated in pool leagues.
He is survived by his daughter: Andrea (Emily Shipley) Henton of Kalamazoo; son: Nathan (Kelci) Henton of Richland; sister: Jessica (Ken) Williams of Kalamazoo, and five nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Charles Edgar “CJ” Henton, III and sister: Ginger Norris.
In following family wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
