Donald Lee Graber, age 72, of Constantine, passed away Sunday evening, March 9, 2025, at his home.
He was born on January 14, 1953, in Three Rivers, son of the late Ezra and Maudie (Kauffman) Graber.
Don was a lifelong Constantine resident, living nearly his entire life on the family farm.
On June 27, 1970, he married Debbie Frye at the Centreville United Methodist Church in Centreville.
Don was a lifelong dedicated farmer, a job he loved. For over 30 years he spent his winters hauling recreational vehicles throughout the United States.
He was a graduate of Centreville High School with the class of 1971, Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his grandchildren, the never-ending projects around the farm and the weekly hay sales. Don truly loved time with his entire family, although his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart. The many family activities will be forever remembered including fish fries and cookouts.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie; daughters: Shannon (Gordon) Foster of Sturgis and Brandy Graber of Constantine; sons: Shane (Mellisa) Graber of Constantine and Luke (Cassie) Graber of Centreville; grandchildren: Nick (Shayla) Rumsey, Katie (Cory) Hopper, Braden Graber, Kalyn Graber, Kimberlin Foster, Easton Graber and Jessie Graber; great grandchildren: Ellie and Isla Hopper and Wyatt Rumsey; step-grandchildren: Chris and Caleb Foster; sisters: Wanda Bontrager and Judy Payne; brother: Merlin Graber and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister: Verla Jane Graber.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00, Friday, March 14th at Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Donald Lee Graber will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 15th. Friend of the family, Peter VandenBrink will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Calhoun Cemetery in Florence Township.
