Roger L. Wolkins, age 86, of Three Rivers, died on Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was born on September 4, 1938 in Porter Township, the son of Lee and Ann (Miller) Wolkins.
He was employed in trailer manufacturing, and attended the Mottville Bible Church. He enjoyed cutting wood, gardening, and farming.
Roger was married to Judy Conner, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons Robert (Julie) Wolkins, Roger Wolkins, and Paul (Penny) Wolkins, seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, and two sisters Eunice Hayford and Shirley Parsons, brother Larry Wolkins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded by his parents, his wife, brother Ronald Wolkins, and granddaughter Ann Wolkins.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Interment will follow in the Mottville Township Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Stutzman of The Mottville Bible Church
will officiate.
Donations are suggested to the Alzheimer Association.
Roger’s middle name is Lee. His father was Lee R. Wolkins. He is survived by seven grandchildren. Also his wife preceded him in death.
So sorry for your loss. I remember as children we would get together every so often and play board games and cards…several different tables since there were quite a few of us. Roger will be missed.
