Officials from Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport have announced the addition of a third daily flight offered by American Airlines.
The midday flight to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport started April 3. Daily departure of the newly added flight is 12:15 p.m. American continues to offer daily flights from AZO to Chicago, departing at 7:17 a.m. and 7:40 p.m.
Craig Williams, airport director, said the additional flights will make for a more convenient travel experience with broader and better connection options, better fits for the traveler’s schedule, and allow greater flexibility and less stress overall.
With this third daily flight and the future planned introduction of larger airplanes, American Airlines is committed to serving southwest Michigan, Williams said.
