Centreville schools plans 5k fundraiser

Centreville Public Schools is offering an Easter-themed fundraiser to benefit a St. Joseph County emergency housing facility.

Superintendent Chad Brady said the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt 5K run/walk, organized by the Centreville High School National Honor Society, begins at 3 p.m. April 19. It starts and ends in the high school parking lot.

Cost is $5 for students and $10 for adults. All proceeds will be donated to Keystone Place.

Participants are urged to bring an Easter basket to collect eggs throughout the course.
