A Colon family that lost its house and possessions in a fire over the weekend is in need of help.
Savannah Bohanon, community engagement coordinator for Colon Community Schools, said the needs are across the board. Immediate needs include clothes and groceries. Bohanon said she can provide more detailed information about clothing sizes, for example.

The Catherine Street fire occurred Saturday night. All occupants and a dog escaped unharmed.
