Jones woman injured in crash

A Jones woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Cass County’s Newberg Township.

Sheriff Clint Roach said deputies were called shortly before noon to the intersection of M-60 and Corey Lake Road.

Investigators said 21-year-old Jocelyn Holdeman, a resident of Jones, was driving south on Corey Lake Road when she allegedly failed to stop at the M-60 intersection. Her vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Sue McDowell, 63, also from Jones.

McDowell was transported to Three Rivers Health. Holderman was not injured, deputies said.
