Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup and a school bus.

Authorities said the incident occurred Wednesday afternoon and involved a Sturgis Public Schols bus with students aboard.

Sturgis Superintendent Art Ebert said the crash happened in the 28000 block of Fawn River Road in Fawn River Township. According to security video, the pickup did not appear to slow down before it struck the rear of the bus.

Fourteen middle and high school students were on the bus, investigators said. Nobody on the bus was injured.

Investigators did not indicate whether the pickup driver was injured. Additional information about the driver and whether citations were issued was not available in a state police media release.
