St. Joseph County Road Commission earned two statewide IMPRESS Awards and two People’s Choice Awards at the 2025 County Road Association of Michigan Highway Conference.

Held last month in Lansing, the program during which IMPRESS Awards were issued recognizes county road agencies that demonstrate innovation on noteworthy projects in three categories.

This year, St. Joseph County received IMPRESS Awards in “Collaboration” for its Langley Covered Bridge restoration and in “Operations” for the Old M-103 rubberized chip-seal project, which introduced an innovative interlayer solution to improve road durability.

Award recipients were honored for projects that solved issues internally for their agencies and externally for their communities.
