Salvation Army of Kalamazoo County has a few volunteer opportunities coming up in May.
The first is May 10, as a part of the annual National Association of Letter Carriers “Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive.”
It is the largest, one-day food drive in the nation and is critical in supporting the agency’s food pantry, according to business and volunteer manager Sabrina Witbeck.
Ten volunteers are needed for this event May 10 at the Parchment Post Office. After that, a dozen volunteers are needed May 12 at the agency’s program support facility, on Davis Creek Drive in Kalamazoo.
Finally, 24 volunteers are being sought May 13 at the program support facility in Kalamazoo.
More information, as well as details related to signing up, is available from Witbeck, at 269-743-0840.
