Woman injured in Cass County crash

A Decatur woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash last week in Cass County’s Silver Creek Township.

Sheriff Clint Roach said deputies were called shortly before 9:30 p.m. Friday to the intersection of M-51 and M-152.

Investigators said Kerry Darrigan, a 70-year-old Decatur man, was heading north on M-51 when he approached from behind a vehicle stopped at the intersection of M-152.

Darrigan passed the stopped vehicle on the right and his car struck an automobile heading east on M-152. It was driven by 31-year-old Chase Henricks of Geneva, Ill.

Authorities said Darrigan’s passenger, 69-year-old Cathy Darrigan, was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
