Margaret “Margie” Angeline Rose, age 72, of Sturgis, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025 At Thurston Woods Village.
Margie was born on August 12, 1952 in Sturgis, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Arnold ) Rose.
She worked at ARCH Workshop and Meijer in Three Rivers until retirement .
Margie loved her Apartment Community where she enjoyed her friendship with many neighbors and her brother Billy next-door.
She enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and NASCAR racing, and on Friday evenings, she could be found listening to the Sturgis high school football or basketball games on the radio.
Margie was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, sister; Marie Louise Rose, and her sweet cat “Mommy”.
Margie will be greatly missed by her brothers; Joseph “Bob” Rose, Michael “Mickey” Rose, Jerry Rose, William “Billy” Rose, several nieces and nephews and Special friends; Michelle VanWormer and Becky Soergel.
Margie appreciated and felt blessed by the friendships she made with her neighbors, nurses, and home care workers.
A graveside service and interment will take place at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 20th at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. Chaplain Rodger Moyer of Thurston Woods Village will officiate.
