Steve never met a stranger, striking up conversations with anyone he encountered. He also enjoyed traveling with his family throughout the US, as well as Germany and Mexico. He owned a Plymouth Prowler and loved taking road trips with other owners, but was happy to let his grandkids drive it to prom. Above all else, Steve loved his family and cherished his loving grandchildren.
