Organizers of last week’s Spring Car Cruise-In & Eats celebration in downtown Sturgis have declared the event a success.
North Street in the downtown district was closed Friday evening for vendors, food trucks and acoustic music entertainment.
Sturgis Downtown Development Authority Event Coordinator Ryan Conrod said the gathering was the perfect kickoff for the summer season of events.
The next downtown Sturgis event – Bourbon, Bacon and Blues – is set for May 23.
