Summer-feeding program beginning in Centreville

Here’s a reminder that Centreville Public Schools is hosting a Michigan Department of Education Office of Health and Nutrition Services summer-feeding program with breakfast and lunch meals to go starting in less than two weeks.

Marilyn Rosewarne, director of dining services, said the program is open to children 18 years of age and younger, as well as anyone 26 or younger mentally or physically disabled.

Recipients DO NOT need to be St. Joseph County residents and do not need to be enrolled at Centreville Public Schools.

Food pick-up events are 4 to 6 p.m. Thursdays at Adams Park pavilion, starting June 12 and concluding July 31. There will be no distribution July 3.
