Thomas “Tom” J. Routsong, age 56, of Burr Oak, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Three Rivers Health.
He was born April 26, 1969 in St. Clair, MI a son to Russell and Arpa (Hebel) Routsong.
Tom grew up in Madison Heights, MI and moved to Peach Tree City, GA where he graduated High School and has been a resident of Burr Oak since 2003.
He was employed by Clark Logistics as a truck driver and had previously worked for Americraft Carton in Sturgis.
Tom was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak.
Surviving are his mother: Arpa Routsong of Burr Oak; father and step-mother: Russell and Ruth Routsong of Newman, GA; a brother: Andrew (Stephanie) Routsong of Oviedo, FL; a sister: Treasa (Kevin) Guilfoyle of Wilmington, NC; and several nieces and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00 to 7:00 on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.
Services celebrating the life of Thomas “Tom” J. Routsong will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 218 W. Main St., Burr Oak, MI with Rev. Kurt Kuhlmann, officiating.
Interment will follow in Burr Oak Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warriors Project, or the Shriner’s. Envelopes are available at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
