Timothy Wayne Cleveland, age 64, of Sturgis, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 28, 2025, at Stillwaters Hospice in Fort Wayne.
He was born November 21, 1960, in Sturgis, son of the late Larry and Mary (Melchi) Cleveland.
Tim was a lifelong Sturgis resident and graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1978.
For the past 46 years Tim was employed by Morgan Olson in Sturgis.
He attended Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis.
Tim was a member of the American Kennel Club and had raised Springer Spaniels. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and storm chasing. He had several collections including Beatles memorabilia and vinyl records. He had a true appreciation for all types of music from the oldies to classic rock but had a special place for the Beatles. Tim was happiest when he was surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters: Jacqueline (Adam) Wetoskey of Fort Wayne, and Jamie Cleveland of Bluffton, Indiana; son: Jesse (Krystal) Cleveland of Mendon; grandchildren: Avery, Logan, Alexis, Keagan, Trinity, Kyleigh, Dylan, Justice, Khloe, Marquise, Keondra, Cordae and Kiara; great grandchildren: Benson and Lorelai; former wife: Marilu Cleveland of Bluffton, Indiana; sisters: Ann (Mark) Lunger and Jeni (Jeremy) Fordyce both of Sturgis; brother: Bradley Cleveland of Everett, Washington; brother-in-law: Timothy Dhaese of Sturgis and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Teresa Dhaese, May 19, 2025.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00, Saturday, June 7th at Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Timothy W. Cleveland will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00. The Rev. Rodger Moyer will officiate. In honoring Tim’s wishes cremation will follow the service.
