Alan Jay Schrader, age 82, of Constantine, formerly of Nottawa, died on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at his home. He was born September 25, 1942 in Sturgis, a son of Louis and Agnes (Teller) Schrader. Alan graduated from Centreville High School in 1960. He served in the US Army from 1962 until 1968. Alan worked as a saw operator for SEKURE Dome and Mirrors, formerly Ram Products in Sturgis.
Surviving are his children Stacey Lahman, Shane Schrader and Bryan Schrader; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Frances (Gary) Penn; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kenneth Schrader; and sister Jane Eymer.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will be in Nottawa Township Cemetery.
