Betty June Alderson, 88

Betty June Alderson, age 88, of Three Rivers, took her last breath Friday, June 13, 2025 peacefully at home and woke up in her eternal home in Heaven pain free. She was born on November 29, 1936 in Morehead, Kentucky the daughter of Oscar and Della (Keaton) Adkins.

At the age of 19, she met the love of her life, Malcom Alderson and they were united in marriage on August 4, 1956. They shared 64 wonderful years of marriage.

Betty, known to many as June or Junie, worked many years in the plastics industry starting at Federal Mogul and her last work years were spent at Victor’s Plastics that eventually became Eimo.

She enjoyed many years of retirement pursuing her hobbies of yard work, gardening, reading, watching movies, eating out, and shopping. She also loved her yearly visit to Myrtle Beach. Betty’s passion for reading was only matched by her deep affection for animals, especially her grand dog, Bailey.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Bernice (Adam) Lambert. Also remaining to cherish her memory are her sisters Kathleen and Ora Jean, and her brother Tom (Rita); many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in passing by her parents; two infant siblings; three siblings; Billy, Jerry, and Geneiva. Betty was also preceded by her loving husband, Malcom Alderson.

Visitation for Betty will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 4 until 7pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 4pm, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Rose officiating. Following services, burial will be held at Mendon Cemetery.
