Mayor Tom Lowry and members of the Three Rivers City Commission recently approved the municipality’s $10.3 million general-fund budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The city’s 12-month fiscal year begins July 1.
According to the Watershed Voice, city officials said the budget maintains existing service levels without increasing taxes.
City Manager Joe Bippus said the general-fund budget includes: $3.1 million for public safety; $1.4 million for public works; nearly $1 million for general government; more than $700,000 for parks and recreation; and $180,000 in capital investments.
The commission also adopted the city’s tax levy, which keeps the millage rate at 13.4768 mills for operations and 1.85 mills for debt service.
