Delta Airlines has announced a promotion that might be of interest to Detroit Lions football fans.
The airline is offering round-trip flights to five of the Lions’ road games, according to WGVU Public Media. The special flights are to Baltimore, Kansas City, Washington, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
Delta officials said with home games at Ford Field in high demand and Lions football season tickets sold out for the 2025-26 season, the flights allow fans to see their team at stadiums across the country.
In addition, Delta has added a flight for University of Michigan fans wishing to see the Wolverines at a non-conference game, with a roundtrip option to and from Oklahoma. Michigan plays the Sooners Sept. 6 in Norman, OK.
A Delta spokesperson said the flights are specifically timed to make it faster and easier to get to and from the football games.
