Donations needed at Sturgis Salvation Army

Officials from the Sturgis Salvation Army in Sturgis are appealing to the public for help with donations.

Desperately needed food items include canned meats, canned fruit, canned vegetables, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, boxed mixes, and spaghetti sauce.

Items are accepted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Salvation Army Store, 306 W. Chicago Road.

Agency officials said monetary donations are always welcome.
