Glen Oaks hires new VP

Glen Oaks Community College has announced its hiring of a new vice president of finance and administration.

Tracy Labadie will assume the position next week. College officials said Labadie will oversee the college’s business office, information technology, and buildings and grounds departments.

She will also serve as the college’s chief financial officer and be a key member of the President’s Cabinet, reporting directly to President Bryan Newton.

With more than two decades of experience in higher education and corporate finance, Labadie most recently served as associate vice president of collaboration, compliance and analytics at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

Labadie also previously served at Glen Oaks as controller and assistant dean of assessment and academic services.
