Interim director of TR library named director

Erin Zabonick has been named director of Three Rivers Public Library.

The move occurred during last week’s library board meeting.

Zabonick had been interim director for more than a year after Bobbi Schoon stepped down in August 2023 to take an administrative role with the city of Three Rivers.

Zabonick recently earned a master’s degree in library and information science.

Board members acknowledged her role as interim director and applauded her commitment to finishing schooling to earn her graduate degree.

She was given a $4,000 stipend.
