Randy Edwards, 66

Randy Lee Edwards, age 66, of Sturgis, passed away Monday afternoon, June 9, 2025, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.

He was born July 8, 1958 in Sturgis, son of Clifford Fred and Georgia Elizabeth (Anderson) Edwards.

Randy was a lifelong Sturgis area resident and graduate of Centreville High School with the class of 1976.

He had been employed by Paramount Furniture Company, Luxliner Mobility, Grumman Olson, and Carter and Associates.

Randy was a gifted bowler and was inducted into the Sturgis Bowl Hall of Fame. He was also a talented fast-pitch softball pitcher and had a passion for the game of golf.

Randy is survived by his son: James Edwards of Sturgis; mother: Georgia Edwards of Sturgis; wife: Sandra Blatter of Sturgis and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and sisters: Penny Jo Edwards and Rose Marie Edwards.

In honoring Randy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Randy Lee Edwards will be held at Fish Lake Bible Church in Sturgis at a later date to be announced.

The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
