Two local organizations have teamed up to form a support group for family members and friends of people who have died by suicide.
Pivotal and Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors have created “Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group.”
In-person meetings are held monthly in Three Rivers and Sturgis.
The group meets in Three Rivers the second Monday of the month at Pivotal’s office on Millard Street. Social time starts at 5 p.m., group time lasts an hour and begins at 5:30.
The Sturgis group meets at Pivotal’s office at 1555 E. Chicago Road, Suite A, the fourth Thursday of the month. Its social time begins at 8:30 a.m. Group time starts at 9 o’clock.
Meanwhile, a virtual option is available 7 to 8:30 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of the month. More information about the virtual session is available by phoning 313-236-7109.
