Woman arrested following Sturgis stabbing incident

A Sturgis woman was arrested last week after Sturgis Department of Public Safety responded to a stabbing incident.

According to a department media release, officers responded at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon to a location in the 200 block of North Maple Street to a report of disorderly conduct.

Officers found a man had been stabbed. He was taken to Sturgis Hospital emergency room and was reportedly in stable condition.

Ages of the victim and suspect, and charges against the suspect were not included in the media release.
