Burr Oak municipal officials have issued an announcement regarding golf carts and village residents.
Starting next week, increased enforcement is planned to confirm golf carts are registered with the village and driven by licensed individuals, 16 years of age or older.
Golf carts can be registered at the village office.
Village officials said an exception to the registration requirement is being made during the upcoming, four-day Burr Oak Heritage Days Festival. However, the 16-or-older age requirement will remain in place.
