On Thursday, July 10, 2025, our loving sister, Teresa Kaye Binion, went home to be with the Lord.
Teresa was born on August 2, 1965 in Detroit, the daughter of William and Noreen (Curry) Binion. She went to Stewart Elementary School in Detroit.
She moved to Three Rivers with her family where she went to Huss Elementary School. After attending middle and high school she graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1985. She attended Glen Oaks Community College for two years.
Teresa was employed at the Three Rivers Goodwill for four years. She was also employed at Heartland Health Care Center as a Certified CNA. She then became a dietary aide at Heartland also. She worked there for 29 years.
She loved visiting churches. She enjoyed all of the good cooking (smiles). She was a member of All Nations Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Parkville, MI under the late Rev. Luther Channey. And later she joined The Church of Christ in Three Rivers under the late Rev. Glen Page.
Teresa loved cooking, reading books, knitting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed collecting oldies records, tapes, CDs, and old magazines.
She also took Tae-Kwon-Do, she loved competing with other teams and winning different belt ranks and trophies.
Teresa memories will be cherished by her brothers and sisters, William A. Binion of Redford, MI, Michele (Louis) White of Kalamazoo, Bradley L. (Shalice) Binion of Redford, Angela L. Binion of Miami, and Althea J. Binion of Kalamazoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Noreen Binion, and by her oldest sister Carolyn, and her youngest sister June.
She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews, and a lot of good friends.
A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers.
