David H. Lambright, age 61, of Shipshewana, passed away unexpectedly at 5:21 am on Monday, August 18, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 9, 1964, in LaGrange to Harvey and Fannie (Yoder) Lambright.
On May 16, 1985 in LaGrange he married Nora Miller, she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons, Karl (Anna) Lambright of Howe and Noah (Betty) Lambright of Shipshewana; four grandchildren, Janell (special friend, Luke Eash) Lambright, Lucas Lambright, Peyton Lambright, and Landry Lambright; special friends of the family, Merle (Clara) Beechy and their sons, Colton and Blake of Shipshewana; five brothers, Amos (Rose) Lambright of Shipshewana, Calvin (Karen) Lambright of Wolcottville, Lester Lambright of Jones, MI, Lavern (Lorene) Lambright of LaGrange, and Duane (Ruth) Lambright of Wolcottville; three sisters, LeAnna (John) Kurtz of Topeka, Mary Sue (Lonnie) Bontrager of Centerville, and Katie (Nathan) Miller of Wolcottville; sister-in-law, Martha Lambright of Wolcottville. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Phillip Lambright.
David worked at Highland Ridge RV for over 15 years, where he most recently served as Director of Operations. He was a proud member of the Trottingbred Association and a devoted member of Emma Church. What brought David the greatest joy in life was being “Grandpa.” He absolutely adored his four grandchildren, and they were the light of his world. Whether it was attending their activities, sharing stories, or simply spending time together, David cherished every moment with them.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, at Emma Church, 1900 S. 600 W., Topeka. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:30 am. Funeral Service on Thursday, August 21, also at the church. Services will be conducted by Pastor Gene Hartman. Burial will be in Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana. Memorials may be given to Toys For Tots as that was something David and his grandchildren always enjoyed shopping for together. Online condolences may be offered at millerstewartfuneralhome.com.
