New TR school board member sworn in

Three Rivers Community Schools Board of Education recently welcomed a new member to the seven-person panel.

Elizabeth Ogreen was sworn in last week to complete the term started by Nichole Cover, who stepped down a month ago.

A Muskegon County native, Ogreen will remain on the board through the end of 2026 and has the option in late 2026 to seek re-election to two more years.

Ogreen is a six-year resident of Three Rivers. She is the children’s ministry director for a Kalamazoo County church.

She also serves as a member of Hoppin Elementary’s Parent-Teacher Organization.
