Palmer Lake Beach opens

Colon Township Supervisor Sandy Jackson said Palmer Lake Beach is now open for swimming.

She cautioned of a few situations to be aware of, however. First, the pavilion is not yet ready for use. In addition, fencing around the property is not yet completed.

Jackson said anyone who chooses to swim does so at their own risk.
