Railroad crossing closed for repairs

A railroad crossing in the Three Rivers area will be closed at least a week for repairs.

Grand Elk Railroad officials said the crossing on Michigan Avenue, between U.S. 131 and Buckhorn Road in Park Township, was closed Monday and is expected to re-open early next week.

The work is expected to include an upgrade to correct the bumpy crossing, railroad officials said.
